see, i told you the flurries had started!
photo of the day: saturday november 24th:
we are counting today as the first official day of snow for winter 2012-13 because the snow removal company was out (see the truck in the photo, hope my neighbours were not trying to sleep in) so if THEY are working, it is definitely a “snowfall.”
a full day awaits – the first snow usually brings out a rush of runners/walkers looking for gloves, hats, yaktrax…i do hope we’re busy!
looking on the bright side – ok, trying to find something positive as i much prefer heat to cold – ONE MONTH TODAY is christmas eve -> the snow adds festive cheer to the air!
are you christmas shopping today?? i just got an email from michaels – huge sales between 7 and 10 p.m. tonight, if you are interested! (including yarn at 70% off – cool!).

We actually got snow a few weeks ago! I don’t know what the chances are that will be all…last year we had big snow at the end of October and then almost nothing. Doubt it will happen twice!
zo, i have my fingers crossed, too, that we have a mild winter like last year – it was a dream. at this moment, it is snowing again…blech!!! hope you remain snow-free for a while!
We had snow the first week of NOV! But luckily it melted fast. I’m so not ready! I’m all about online shopping. I don’t do crowds!
stacie, i think i would scream if we had snow that early – so glad yours melted! online shopping – you realize the main benefit is that you can drink wine while you shop!! i don’t mind crowds if i am wandering, but not if i am in power-shopping mode!
Yikes! Snow…please keep it on Your side of the border, Sweetie!! I am Not ready for it yet. No Christmas shopping today unless you count what I just bought from Amazon. I’m too excited but keeping it under wraps for a while…
fran, i am not into this snow at all! oo, that is fun that you had some luck with amazon!! wish i could take a look!!
