pair #4 of compression socks!
i just could not resist the impromptu purchase of these compression socks! whoever heard of ARGYGLE sport socks (apart from golf!)?! i justified the purchase in two ways: 1) my xmas shopping is done/planned out, so when you reach that status, it is ok to buy something for yourself, again, and 2) the deal on these socks was amazing! skinny runner provided her readers with a discount code for pro compression: 40% off AND free shipping (and this is from the US to canada, no less!) so for $30 GRAND TOTAL, i got the socks. i wore these socks for my 9-5 shift at theOTHERstore today. [i know i have said that comp socks + capris is a fashion faux-pas; however, you don’t hide sox like these under a barrel under a layer of lycra. and, wearing shorts today would have turned my knees into frozen ice blocks].
first impressions: winners! interestingly, these are the first pair of comp socks that are NOT left and right defined – they’re just *a pair* of socks. they feel silky and were easy to pull up (no sweating necessary like with my CEPs). the socks felt supportive all day and are very comfortable. i like ’em!
oh – and for those of you who feel you were misled by today’s title…
